Beautiful opals slowly swimming in the liquid, flashing a rainbow of colors. More beautiful than the picture! Looks great in sunlight and indoors. There are many large pieces of different colored opals. The seller contacted me right away to confirm my address (there was an inconsistency). The piece was nicely packaged for gifting, was very well packed for shipping. I arrived several days before the estimated arrival date.

All Opals sold on site are first sourced in the rough and selected for gem brightness and rare patterns from local and interstate mining contacts.

I personally and fastidiously cut each and every stone to a very high polish..with a lot of love, a lot of sweat and always a tear when I wave it goodbye.

All Opals are Australian mined and totally natural solids
There may be rare cases where exceptional and rare Ethiopian Opal is obtained, or a slice of opal is too thin and requires a backing for strength and durability - These have the term Opal Doublets... these are always advertised as such with no tricks

Sadly there is a lot of smoke treated Ethiopian Welo opal and even synthetic opal that some unscrupulous sellers are passing off as Australian Lighting Ridge Black Opal, so please be aware.
If ever in doubt about an Opal purchase please send me an email and I will be happy to offer advice
